Welcome to the RightsCon proposal portal!

The portal allows you to manage your RightsCon submissions. Once you create an account, you can submit a session proposal, apply for the Community Support Fund, and more – all in one centralized location.

Travel support applications for the 13th edition of RightsCon (February 24-27, 2025) are now open! The deadline to apply for travel support is September 2, 2024 at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time. Decisions will be communicated to applicants by the end of September 2024.

Nominations for the Speaker & Facilitator List are also open! If you have a thematic or regional perspective to contribute to our RightsCon 2025 program, nominate yourself as a speaker or facilitator before August 16th, 2024 at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time. If you've submitted a session through the RightsCon 2025 Call for Proposals, you can expect to receive a notification by late August 2024.

The RightsCon proposal portal is hosted on OpenWater. We recommend that you read OpenWater’s privacy policy, and review RightsCon’s data usage policy, Code of Conduct, and participation and privacy policy.

We use the information provided through the portal to review session proposals, build the RightsCon program, send you updates about the summit, allocate connectivity support, and coordinate your involvement with RightsCon. We will not sell your data to anyone or share your data with an unauthorized third party.
