Welcome to the RightsCon proposal portal!

The portal allows you to manage your RightsCon experience. Once you create an account, you can request a visa on arrival to Costa Rica, apply for funding for travel, connectivity, translation, and more – all in one centralized location.

The 12th edition of RightsCon will be held in San José, Costa Rica and online from Monday, June 5 to Thursday, June 8, 2023. The Call for Proposals is currently closed, and our team has sent notification of acceptances to session organizers. 

Regular ticket prices end on May 15, 2023. In line with our inclusive ticket policy, we will continue to offer free and discounted options for both online participation (available upon registration) and in-person participation (available by request). 

The RightsCon proposal portal is hosted on OpenWater. We recommend that you read OpenWater’s privacy policy, and review RightsCon’s data usage policy, Code of Conduct, and participation and privacy policy.

We use the information provided through the portal to review session proposals, build the RightsCon program, send you updates about the summit, allocate connectivity support, and coordinate your involvement with RightsCon. We will not sell your data to anyone or share your data with an unauthorized third party.
