Welcome to the RightsCon proposal portal!

The portal allows you to manage your RightsCon submissions. Once you create an account, you can submit a session proposal, apply for the Community Support Fund, and more – all in one centralized location.

The Call for Proposals for RightsCon 2026 (May 5-8, Lusaka, Zambia, and online) is now closed. During the upcoming months, the RightsCon team and the Program Comittee will be reviewing the proposals. Final notifications will be sent by late-December.

The RightsCon proposal portal is hosted on OpenWater. We recommend that you read OpenWater’s privacy policy, and review RightsCon’s data usage policy, Code of Conduct, and participation and privacy policy.
We use the information provided through the portal to review session proposals, build the RightsCon program, send you updates about the summit, allocate connectivity support, and coordinate your involvement with RightsCon. We will not sell your data to anyone or share your data with an unauthorized third party.
