TRAVEL AND VISA SUPPORT
Travel support applications for the 13th edition of RightsCon (February 24-27, 2025) are now closed. Decisions will be communicated to applicants by the end of September 2024.
With many of you planning to join us in-person in Taipei, it’s time to start planning your travel, including kickstarting the visa process, should you require one to travel to Taiwan. Depending on which visa pathway you go through, you may need a visa invitation letter as part of the application process. You can now request for an invitation letter to RightsCon 2025, in both English and Chinese. The deadline to submit a request for a visa invitation letter is January 31, 2025, at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time.
If you need a visa to Taiwan and do not have an ROC (Taiwan) overseas mission in your country of residence, you can go through the eVisa through eCode process facilitated by Access Now, Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs, and Open Culture Foundation, the local partner for RightsCon 2025. The deadline to submit a request through this process is December 20, 2024, at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time.
